Hi there Mike Windgren,
Great to see that Spanish EP. I note the RCA Victor logo is exactly the same as the old British RCA logo of its time.

I’m guessing ‘Spanish’ released album? Well going by the language. I’ll have to see whether ive got any Spanish’ releases. I’m sure I will have somewhere in the collection.

Yes it´s rare as it doesn´t display an Elvis Presley picture on the front cover. The second cover release as shown above, is extremely hard to find and it fetches high prices in the Elvis collectors world. My copy is in Mint conditon!

This is not from Spain but from a neighbour country Portugal. The Portugese version of That's The Way It Is called "Elvis Show". I believe it is "original" from the 70's. I bought it on my trip to Lisbon some years ago, so it also brings back some nice memories of that beautiful city.
I like both the front and back covers. What is noteworthy is that the back cover uses a backstage shot of Elvis in his black leather outfit with Sammy Davis Jr. The footage of that only became available in the closing credits of TTWII Special Edition decades later. So it puzzles me how on earth did the (portugese?) designer of this sleeve got his/her hands on that photo..

The inner sleeve of the Italian pressing of 'That's The Way It Is' also has RCA embossed into it, I have hopefully shown this here.
Thank you

A close up of the stamper, I’ve noticed these stamps on several
European releases over the years. What are they? I wonder if it’s tax issue. Does any one have any more information on these.
Done a quick translation and I think it reads:
‘Society Italian Company Authors and Publishers Rome’

Love the
Elvis Show alternates from Portugal and Italy
@JohnnyByeBye and
@The Warder. Both have been on my hunting list for a while. Beautiful additions to any collection. Italy certainly has some beautiful cover alternates in its catalog. I have this
From Elvis in Memphis in my collection (
my copy is better than this quick Discogs rip
).

nice cover...I had to check the reverse side on Discogs hoping not to see a Viva Las Vegas shot

which is the only thing that bugged me about FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS.
