Elvis 19 times in the Evergreen Top 1000 of NPO Radio 5

The complete Evergreen Top 1000 of 2025 was announced today, and Elvis Presley is once again well represented this year. With 19 entries, the King of Rock 'n' Roll remains one of the most beloved artists in this annual list of timeless classics.

The highest position for Elvis this year is My Boy, which rises to number 47 — an impressive jump of 24 positions. Suspicious Minds also holds steady at number 55, as does In The Ghetto, which finishes slightly lower than last year at number 88.

There are two new entries for Elvis in the list this year:

- (You're) The Devil in Disguise at number 709

- Such a Night at number 770.

The biggest climber is Crying in the Chapel, which climbs an impressive 500 positions to number 468. The biggest losers are Love Me Tender (-445) and The Wonder of You (-319), both of which have dropped considerably compared to 2024.

Other notable positions are:

- Can't Help Falling in Love – #265

- It's Now or Never – #266

- Are You Lonesome Tonight – #408

- Always On My Mind – #94

- An American Trilogy (Live) – #367

Hidden Minds spotlights ELVIS, we were there!

The popular YouTube channel Hidden Minds has released a new episode that focuses extensively on Erik van den Berg's book "ELVIS, WE WERE THERE!". In this episode, host René Slaats takes viewers on a journey through the remarkable story of Dutch and Belgian Elvis fans who crossed over to the United States in the 1970s to see Elvis Presley perform live.

Unfortunately, this work is being delayed due to the end-of-year rush at the pressing plants, which means they cannot yet provide an exact delivery date. The pressing plant is doing everything it can to resolve this for us as quickly as possible.
