not retired and approached RCA about finally
releasing the legendary song in August 1988.
Newspapers at the time reported how Ed had
rediscovered the disc that had been stored away in
a trunk for decades and thought it high time the
whole world heard this fascinating and historic
recording by a very young Elvis Presley.
