Great!! Thank you so much for the info.I never knew he cut that one too! This forum is really a fountain of BBJ knowledge! :)

... I bet that Bilbo is already wiping sweat off his brow, being the administrator of the complete and ever-changing list of BBJ pressings :D

Haha... No, no sweat at all. One update per week or so should be enough. So I will not get overworked. 😁

Glad to see this post resurected - I've been chasing BBJ releasaes since the original topic appeared on FECC.

IMO the Pete Norman pressings on the green International label soundjust as good as BBJ. A Date With Elvis is fantastic.

Good to ear! Have you made any direct comparisons between BBJ and Pete Norman pressings of a same record? My problem is that I don't own both Pete Norman and BBJ of any of the titles,so I cannot really compare. I'm guessing that is the case with most of us ...No-one has two copies of green label RCA International UK pressings of Double Trouble.

It would be interesting to compare though :)

Does anyone have any clue about that Aloha From Hawaii DPS 2040 in Bilbo's list... what year's pressng is that exactly? Is thatt with orange öabel or something else?

I don't recall anyone mentioning here that they own a BBJ pressing of Aloha or telling us how it sounds.

The year is unknown. It is with the black label (used from 1979 to 1984, if I'm not mistaken).

And this one, where it is stated that Bob's signature is in the deadwax...

More RCA International to add from my collection

"Girl Happy": German pressing for UK and EURO market: Black label with silver rim, old RCA logo NL83338, no mentioning who cut this (Can't find this copy on Discogs either)

"Frankie and Johnny": UK pressing, green labels 1980, INTS 5036 cut by Jack Adams, so before BJ wich version came two years after this.

Thanks @Bilbobaggins! Good info! So it's a same thing as with the Rock 'n' roll lp's: the same catalog numbers were used for both orange and black labels, but only the blck labels were mastered by BBJ. It could be a good idea to mention that in the list :)

Have added Blue Hawaii, Roustabout and Essential Elvis 1 & 2.

Will add a photo of the other INTS pressings I have - I think I am only missing a few now

Thank you for the photos :) I was not aware that he cut Clambake as well! I would have liked to see ole Bob's face when was trying to tweak the high frequenzies on let's say... Confidence :D
