Thanks….but im not so sure I will notice any difference.
I didnt know the original track was faulty :/
The bass drops out at around 2:05-2:26 on the original mix [first heard on the 6363 Sunset FTD that came out in 2001].
Ok, I often don’t notice these things

After an inordinate amount of experimentations, the below sample ['before and after'] of "I'm Leavin'" will likely be used as a final template for a complete restoration of Ed Bonja's August 16, 1974 rehearsal cassette tape.

As the band was evidently only captured via vocal mic leakage [recorded to line inputs], one of the main objectives was to attempt to retrieve as much signal information as possible to try and achieve an overall better balance.
All that being said, given the low-quality source, please do not expect any sonic miracles.

Thanks for all your work and sharing.
I must admit that I was hoping you would finish the second half
of the July 24 rehearsal first, though.

The second half of the July 24, 1970 rehearsal is already done but won't be posted until the '74 tracks that make up the remainder of disc 4 are restored.

I just listened to the BL track on this new release but couldn’t hear anything missing at that point in the song.
Whether it’s due to my old useless ears or the music equipment not being good enough, I don’t know. 🤷

Your work sounds really good! Especially considering the source material. Too bad the instruments (like the bass for example) are not recorded very well. But, wow... thanks!

Really great sound, so thank you! :)
I might raise the dialogue between the songs to a slightly higher level, as I did with a previous release of this rehearsal.
Or maybe I’ll just remove all the dialogue so that only the songs are left to hear :)
Anyway great work once again ElvisAliSellers :!:

Final disc restoration.
Also includes an "easter egg" bonus of a newly restored mix of the overdubbed David Briggs-produced version of "The Twelfth of Never" that was prepared in 1994 and originally offered to RCA/BMG.
