The Elvis Archival Preservation Society - Now on Spotify
In case folks miss the weekly video-podcast on YouTube, Elvis Day By Day and the Elvis Information Network have recently informed readers that the EAP Society YouTube channel was terminated on December 13 for (yet) unknown reasons. (Founder) Jamie Kelley is actively trying to bring the channel back, but at this time it is unclear if or when this might happen.
According to a recent website update, they're now diversifying to Spotify, in addition to other platforms like Facebook and Rumble.
For those who don't know or are unaware of the EAP Society, run by Mr. Kelley and John Michael Heath, they have ambitious goals to preserve Elvis history, including the production of (officially backed) audio and video projects in addition to research and photo books on a variety of Elvis-related topics.
Their goals include:
- finding and acquiring unheard/unseen Elvis recordings and media for preservation (they have info on more than a few now)
- when possible, releasing said media through official channels
- licensing album / session / etc releases from Sony
- building easy-to-follow tools and databases for new fans
- creating documentaries on a wide range of Elvis topics, including interviews from people who were there
- producing research and photo books on a wide range of Elvis topics
- promoting a greater understanding of Elvis Presley, his art, and the people around him
- producing more live events that are as affordable as possible for fans, in keeping with what Elvis did with his shows
- expanding the EAP Society set for larger projects and group discussion episodes
- finding new / creative / refreshing ways to introduce Elvis to more people

So did I.Mike C wrote: December 23rd, 2025, 8:00 am I really enjoyed their YouTube channel. They never played copyrighted audio so not sure what it was terminated.
They're still trying to figure that out. Could be copyright issues (books), but apparently they've never received any copyright notices beforehand or else they surely would have taken respective measures. AI most likely had something to do with the ban. The channel got automatically flagged and terminated, alongside a bunch of other channels.
For now, the latest content gets released on Facebook, Spotify and of course (as always) Patreon. Due to the channel-ban, their entire video archive is currently available for Patreon members only (with exception of the earliest uploads from 2022, which were exclusively hosted on YouTube).
Folks are invited to join! Signing up on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/eapsociety) is free and paid memberships start at around EUR 5 / month. It's an online-community of dedicated Elvis-fans and as Jamie Kelley always says "a people-powered movement" to present and preserve Elvis-related content, stories and other information and, most importantly, to make some actual, officially backed releases happen. Following the channel on Facebook and subscriptions on Spotify are also free, of course, and the perfect way to check out the channel.
I'm a paying member myself and although I'm not 100% d'accord with what they do (especially their ETA-related activities, limited as they may be) I do think this is a worthwhile endeavour!
