By the way... the first real Dutch "insight article" (dated from september 1956) was extremely negative about Elvis Presley. The Elvis hysteria in the US and UK was called a spreading disease. Elvis was called a weak faced greasy haired fellow with spastic movements. The rock and roll rage would very soon die a silent death... The journalist was a man called Skip Voogd... an authority on modern music in those days...

This was the magazine VIZIER from October 1956 with a beautiful front cover.
Most news about Elvis came in the magazine Tuney Tunes and Muziek Expres in Holland.
