FOX 5 NY managing editor Peter Facini discovered a unique two-minute clip of Elvis Presley recording a new ending for his first film, "Love Me Tender," in New York City on Oct. 29, 1956.
The clip shows Elvis interacting with the director and fans outside Junco Studios, an old carriage house on East 69th Street, capturing behind-the-scenes moments previously unknown to Graceland's archives.
Angie Marchese, vice president of archives at Graceland, plans to license the footage for Graceland's permanent collection, highlighting its value in preserving and sharing Elvis's legacy.
