So, I take it you don't enjoy animated movies...?Bilbobaggins wrote: October 6th, 2025, 2:48 pmThe possibilities of this technology will be endless, I am sure.JimmyCool wrote: October 6th, 2025, 1:47 pm Once this AI technology has advanced further, I would love to see a biopic of Elvis Presley featuring the real Elvis Presley.
However, I would not be interested in a movie with an AI version of Elvis. I find it difficult to explain exacly why, but I will do my best...
In a movie with an actor it is obvious that someone (hopefully a good actor) uses his acting skills to portrait the character he plays. He will do that with all the emotions that are relevant. The person watching the movie is aware of that he/she is watching an actor. A computer generated image, pretending to be the real thing, would be fake on all levels. I'd prefer watching a good actor over a computer generated copy...
Just my opinion, and I hope it makes sense.
Oh yes, I like a lot of them. But that has nothing to do with my post, nothing at all...JimmyCool wrote: October 6th, 2025, 3:29 pmSo, I take it you don't enjoy animated movies...?Bilbobaggins wrote: October 6th, 2025, 2:48 pmThe possibilities of this technology will be endless, I am sure.JimmyCool wrote: October 6th, 2025, 1:47 pm Once this AI technology has advanced further, I would love to see a biopic of Elvis Presley featuring the real Elvis Presley.
