The German "Bravo" magazine
Maybe some of you remember the German "Bravo" magazine. It has always been a supplier of many Elvis articles through the years. I have scans of, I think, all the Elvis articles from 1956 up to 1988. If you are interested I will post these scans, year by year.
The first batch is 1956. This year Elvis wasn't commonly known yet in Europe... but that soon would change...

Thanks Bilbo!:Elvis seemed to be one of those artists that Bravo kept running stories about. I bought numerous issues in the 80's that had articles on Elvis and they aölways had great color photos and sometimes posters.

Re: The German "Bravo" magazine
By the way... the first real "insight article" (dated from september 1956) was extremely negative about Elvis Presley. The Elvis hysteria in the US and UK was called a spreading disease. Elvis was called a weak faced greasy haired fellow with spastic movements. The rock and roll rage would very soon die a silent death... The journalist was a man called Skip Voogd... an authority on modern music in those days...
