Re: Elvis Presley - Sunset Boulevard
After an inordinate amount of experimentations, the below sample ['before and after'] of "I'm Leavin'" will likely be used as a final template for a complete restoration of Ed Bonja's August 16, 1974 rehearsal cassette tape.
As the band was evidently only captured via vocal mic leakage ...

Re: Elvis Presley - Sunset Boulevard
I feel that the ’74 rehearsal is a lost cause (i.e., not possible to make good)
due to microphone distortion.
Certainly, even with the most advanced software and restroration skills, there will always be limitations when working with a substandard source.
Hopefully, you will hear a modicum ...

Re: EPiC - new film - thoughts from the premiere
Whilst obviously not featured in EPiC, I heard from a very reliable source that some footage from the '61 Hawaii show absolutely exists.

Re: Trailer for EPIC
59 hours seems too short if you are counting footage shot from EVERY camera angle from BOTH documentaries.
It's also somewhat of a coincidence that the editor of EPiC [Jonathan Redmond] mentioned the 59 hours, as this figure closely matches the account of the original production team of Elvis on ...

Re: Elvis Presley - Sunset Boulevard
As promised, a remodelled stereo mix of the July 24, 1970 rehearsal.
Disc 3 only for the time being [same configuration/track markers but not a 1:1 copy of the Sunset Boulevard/Anesini edit].
The remaining discs will follow eventually but unlikely to be in the immediate future.
