The song was written by Donnie Fritts & Troy Seals; recorded in august 1973 by Troy Seals and released in october 1973 on his album Atlantic SD 7281 “Now presenting Troy Seals”.

Frank Welker was there though I didn't get a chance to meet him or get his autograph. I have a 20 inch by 30 inch photo print from The Trouble with Girls and How to Get into It where he's with Elvis. He can be seen between Elvis's legs.

One thing that Randy Quaid said to me about the 2005 CBS television miniseries on Elvis is that in preparation for the role of Colonel Parker, he read a book about Colonel Parker. He didn't mention which book it was but I presume that it was Alanna Nash's book on Parker, which came out in 2003.

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert will be exclusive at IMAX theaters for a week beginning on February 20, 2026. The film will be in regular theaters beginning on February 27, 2026.
