Re: When Was Elvis Presley's First Recording REALLY made?

According to John Michael Heath from the Elvis Archival Preservation Society (EAP Society), it was NOT 7/18/1953 . If you want to know what date he feels that it was recorded, go on the 50 minute & 29 second mark of this video to find out:

Re: Ben Weisman | Why Elvis Recorded 57 Of My Songs

Hello,

There was a book that Ben Weisman wrote where he talked about all the songs that he wrote that Elvis Presley recorded. In the book, he mentioned the 57 song titles that Elvis recorded, including one titled "Chataqua," which we know of no known recording by Elvis. The other 56 song titles are ...

Hello,

One of the things that I hope the EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert Blu ray release does include is a bunch of extra performances not seen in the theatrical film. Give me a solid two hours of additional performances restored to the same quality (not necessarily EPiC versions with additional ...

I think "That Night Life Look" is supposed to be "Wearin' That Night Life Look," a mashup of "Night Life" and "Wearin' That Loved On Look."

Re: New FTD - MAKING OF G.I. BLUES

Any news on what the next FTD releases are after "Good Times" vinyl reissue and "The Making of G. I. Blues"? Any idea what the next FTD "The Making of..." is going to be? I presume that it will either be "Loving You" or "Love Me Tender."

As for the sessions releases, I would think that "Frankie and ...

Hello,

I'm planning on going again in April 2026. One of the people announced that is going to be there in April is songwriter, recording artist, musician and actor Paul Williams. Of course Williams wrote the song "Where Do I Go From Here," which was recorded by Elvis Presley. He also co-wrote with ...

Frank Welker was there though I didn't get a chance to meet him or get his autograph. I have a 20 inch by 30 inch photo print from The Trouble with Girls and How to Get into It where he's with Elvis. He can be seen between Elvis's legs.

Re: What should I ask?

One thing that Randy Quaid said to me about the 2005 CBS television miniseries on Elvis is that in preparation for the role of Colonel Parker, he read a book about Colonel Parker. He didn't mention which book it was but I presume that it was Alanna Nash's book on Parker, which came out in 2003.
