Another Bootleg that has unreleased outtakes is the 1996 'Famous Groove' release 'The Complete Frankie & Johnny Sessions'. They are not really complete because some of the tapes are lost or not found yet...

These tracks are not exactly Elvis' opus magnum... but still... here it is ...

yes very surprised that after sales diminished for this box set that Sony just didn`t release the Christmas / Gospel tracks in a new package or two separate packages with a sticker on the front of both ...

I still found another record in my collection mastered by Boppin' Bob Jones; it's 45 rpm maxi single with Mean woman blues - I beg of you b/w Party - Mean woman blues (PT 49494). In the lead out groove is etched "Boppin' Bob".

Today this nice re-issue/replica of the Japanese Christmas Album from 1957 arrived. The original is hard to find and very expensive (up to €5000 for a NM copy)... so this one will do just fine for me. I haven't opened it yet but I will give it a spin in the coming days. I think it is a beauty ...

Did you see EPiC yet? We saw it in IMAX and it blew me away. Of course, more unseen material would have been great, but it was wonderful to see something in that quality on a big screen, and not know what was coming next.

I agree...in a very small way (and I do mean small ;) ) we had ELVIS BACK IN NASHVILLE 2021 (He Touched me / Wonderful World...) but nowhere near what you are suggesting obviously. I did like CHRISTMAS ...
